Milia
Otherwise known as milk spots, milia are frequently found under the eyes and on the cheeks. They are often very tiny, hard, stubborn lumps which can't be squeezed like normal blemishes. And they don't respond to conventional beauty facials. Thankfully, they're very easy to treat, and it takes less than 15 minutes to do so, using Veinwave™, a technique pioneered for treating fine thread veins, and equally effective for treating milia and skin tags. Veinwave has been cleared with flying colours by the USA's Federal Drug Administration and is extremely safe.
Prices start from £95.
What can I expect?
A numbing cream can be applied 10 minutes prior to the treatment although it's usually not necessary as there is only mild discomfort.
Using Veinwave™, the milia is treated with a high frequency current to break the skin and dislodge the blockage which causes the milia to form. The milia then can be popped out, leaving behind a small reddened area which can be easily covered with mineral make-up such as Jane Iredale. The redness will subside within a couple of days. Sometimes more than one treatment is needed.
Success Rate
This is a highly successful treatment. However, if you're prone to milk spots there is a possibility that they will return. Not to worry - we can remove them again if necessary.
