Sculptra™ (Collagen Replenishment)
Sculptra works differently from traditional fillers. It is a unique collagen-replenishing treatment which gradually and subtly helps to reduce lines, wrinkles and folds on the face. By helping to replenish facial collagen and restore lost volume, it can give a fuller, natural look which can last up to two or sometimes three years.

Who is the procedure suitable for?
Sculptra is suitable for both men and women from their 30s who are showing the first signs of ageing, right up to people in their 70s.
Which areas can be treated?
Unlike some dermal fillers which only treat individual lines and wrinkles, Sculptra can be used to treat most areas of the face, including:
- Wrinkles and folds
- Lines between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds)
- Lines around the corners of the mouth
- Wrinkles in the cheeks and chin
- Sunken cheeks
- Recessed temple area
- Jowls
What can I expect?
We take a full medical history at your initial consultation. An effective numbing cream is always applied beforehand and the product is mixed with a numbing solution to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. It consists of multiple small injections to the face and takes approximately one to two hours. Usually two to three treatments are required, and the results become noticeable after approximately six weeks. After your first treatment you may think Sculptra has worked immediately because of the swelling from the injections and the water used to dilute the product. In a few days, when the swelling goes down and the water is absorbed by your body, you may look the same as you did before your treatment. Don't worry. Sculptra takes time to work, and the results should be noticeable after approximately six weeks.
Success Rate
Sculptra is a very long-lasting, safe and successful treatment. You might need two to three treatments to get optimal results. Unlike other facial treatments which require top-ups, Sculptra's results can last up to three years.
